What are the application deadlines and eligibility criteria for culture and arts project funding?

Submission of Applications

Funding for culture and arts projects is allocated exclusively through public tenders, which are announced twice a year:

• The first tender is announced in autumn, with funding allocated for projects in the following calendar year.
• The second tender is announced in the first quarter of the year, with funding allocated for projects to be implemented by the end of the same year.

Application Requirements

Applications may be submitted by legal entities registered in any EU or EEA Member State, except for ministries of the Republic of Lithuania and municipal administrations. At the time of receiving funding, the beneficiary must have a registered place of establishment in Lithuania. An exception applies to foreign Lithuanian organizations registered and operating abroad, which may submit applications under the program "Dissemination of the Idea of Global Lithuania."
