The Baltic Culture Fund has announced the results of its funding for 2025. The Fund allocated €300,000 to enhance cultural collaboration among the Baltic States. Funding has been allocated to four initiatives, with two of them being coordinated by organisations based in Lithuania.

Funding for the Baltics' outstanding ideas

This year, the Fund received 35 applications, with total funding requests exceeding €2.1 million. Julija Reklaitė, a member of the Baltic Culture Fund's Expert Committee, emphasised that key factors in the evaluation process included the alignment with the Fund’s objectives, equal participation from all three Baltic States, the diversity of artistic disciplines, the involvement of prominent international partners, and the overall quality of the applications. “The applications selected for funding stood out for their ambitious creative concepts, strong content, professional project management, and close collaboration among the Baltic countries in showcasing all three nations in prestigious international venues,” she noted.

The applications were evaluated by a six-member Expert Committee, with two members from each Baltic country. The list of the 2025-2027 Expert Committee can be found here.
